Rio: 1 year old shepherd Mix
Available for Adoption Through Team Memphis Rescue and Support (https://teammemphis.org/)

Rio comes with a complimentary go home lesson and 1 additional private lesson with me to be used at a later time to help make sure he is successful.

Rio is a 1 year old German Shepherd mix was surrendered to a Memphis area shelter with the rest of his litter. Team Memphis pulled the entire litter in order to try to find them homes. Rio came to me to work on manners, acclimate to a house setting, and to learn some much needed obedience. He currently is working on all of these things plus e-collar training.

Rio is likely dog friendly with a proper introduction, good with cats as long as he is supervised, good with people, and is eager to work and please. He works well for his kibble and has nice food motivation/drive. He does like toys, but doesn't play tug and has a low toy drive. He does have some environmental anxiety that we have been working on with socialization, exposure, and confidence building. Rio would best be suited for an active home that would be willing to continue on with his training. He truly enjoys having a job to do and learning new things.
Ripley: 2 year old Cane Corso
(ADOPTION PENDING)
Available for Adoption Through Helping Hearts and Healing Tails Animal Rescue (https://www.helpingheartshealingtails.org/)

Ripley is a 2 year old Cane Corso that was surrendered to the rescue after his owner went to hospice. After his owner was sick for at least a year, Ripley unfortunately needed some general TLC and love to boost his spirits. He needed to lose quite a bit of weight and gain some much needed muscle, which he has been doing wonderfully. Ripley came to me for some socialization, but now we have also started to add in some basic obedience as well. His only real issue is that he does not want his nails trimmed, but we are slowly making progress with touching his feet.

Ripley is dog social and seems to love to play with other dogs. He also appears to be friendly with cats. He is people social and will walk up to strangers without any issues, but he still isn't quite sure about people petting him. He is just a bit shy, he has never displayed aggression in any way the entire time I have had him. He is a very well mannered and stable dog and would make a wonderful companion for just about any home. Once he warms up to you, he is quite the character and he always makes us laugh here. Ripley would love a fenced in yard, if possible, and does not need an active home. However, he would love to do some active things with his new human since he does enjoy some activity. I adore this guy and I would keep him if we could.
Hayes: 4 year old shepherd mix
Available for Adoption Through Speak for the Unspoken (https://www.speakfortheunspoken.com/)

Hayes is a 4 year old German Shepherd Mix that was an owner surrender along with another dog (Woody) that is also currently being fostered at another location. Prior to being surrendered, the two dogs lived with their homeless owner in a vehicle and on the streets. Hayes came to me for some confidence building, socialization, and to try to help her learn how to trust people again.

Hayes is a very sweet girl, but she is very timid and shy when meeting new people. Once she gets to know you, she is a very happy dog and will show how much she care about you as she asks for attention and butt scratches. She appears to be dog friendly, but would require a proper introduction as she can be easily overwhelmed and become fearful. She also will advocate for her space and likely would not do well with an overly pushy dog. She has not been tested with cats, but has always ignored mine as she walks past him behind a baby gate. Hayes would do best in a low-key, quiet home where her true personality can shine through. An active home is not required, but she would enjoy doing things with her human.
Ranger: 1 year old shepherd mix
(ADOPTION PENDING)
Available for Adoption Through Team Memphis Rescue and Support (https://teammemphis.org/)

Ranger is a 1 year old shepherd mix that was surrendered with the rest of his litter to a Memphis area shelter. The rescue pulled the entire litter to try to place them all in homes, only 3 of the boys are still available out of 7! Ranger came to me to get acclimated to a home setting and to work on some basic obedience skills and socialization.

Ranger appears to be dog selective and may not always get along with another dog. He would do best in as the only dog in the household or with a slow and proper introduction to another dog. A meet and greet would be required to make sure any other dogs in the household would be compatible with Ranger before adoption. Ranger appears to be okay with cats, but this has not been tested thoroughly yet. Ranger may take some time to fully warm up to his new owners and to let his personality shine; he just doesn't quite understand the benefits of human affection after spending so much time in a kennel environment. Ranger is a very sweet dog and once he warms up to you his more energetic and goofy side will start to come through. He is probably the most serious dog of the 3 brothers, but he is still a happy goof ball of a dog. Ranger would do best in an active home where his owners are willing to continue on with some training to help expose him to the world in a positive way.
Rey: 1 year old Shepherd Mix
Available for Adoption Through Team Memphis Rescue and Support (https://teammemphis.org/)

Rey is a 1 year old shepherd mix that was surrendered to a Memphis area shelter with the rest of his littermates. The entire litter was pulled by the rescue in order to try to find them homes. Rey is a littermate to Rio and Ranger, the 3 remaining dogs still available from a litter of 7! Rey came to me to adjust to a household setting and to work on some socialization and obedience skills.

Rey is the most easy going guy of the bunch and he is also the tallest of the 3. He is always happy and his tail will smack off of everything anywhere he goes as it wags wildly just because he is so excited to be with you. Rey appears to be dog friendly with a proper introduction. He also appears to be good with cats and has ignored mine anytime he has seen him behind the gate, but this has not been fully tested. Rey would do best in an active home where his owners are willing to continue on with his training to help him see the world in a positive way.
